My Story
I’m Latisia Johnson, the founder of Move 2B Moved and a movement educator, choreographer, and guide.
Movement has always been more than performance for me. It’s been a language for connection, expression, and self-understanding. My work lives at the intersection of education, artistry, and embodied learning, where movement becomes a tool for confidence, communication, and personal growth.
With experience working in schools, community spaces, and performance settings, I bring an educator’s lens and an artist’s intuition to every space I enter. I am deeply informed by child development, observation-based teaching, and the belief that people thrive when they feel safe, seen, and supported.
At Move 2B Moved, my approach is intentional and relational. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all movement experiences. Instead, I meet individuals and communities where they are guiding movement experiences that support projection, passion, and protection, both on stage and in everyday life.
Outside of this work, I am a mother, partner, and lifelong learner. These roles continue to shape how I move through the world and how I show up for the people I work with which is with care, curiosity, and respect.
