We believe that we are all movers and there are some of us that are MOVEMENT DRIVEN, which just means that you choose movement as a way of therapy, relaxation, exploration, confidence and more. We have a select few walk-in classes that take place weekly. No commitment unless you want to progress in your dance experience (dance packages are available).
Our workshops give you a quick taste of dancing with different instructors, choreographers, technical classes, dance styles, etc. Check out our schedule to see when they take place.
Meet The Owner
The owner and creative director of Move 2B Moved specializes in different styles of dance and movement practices that are dedicated to helping you achieve your dance goals, fitness goals and/or movement goals. As a creative who studied at Russell Sage College, Latisia's dance background focused on the the dancer within. Starting from the core of the dancer to enhance, improve, connect and support her students.
Latisia not only studied dance as therapy in school, she uses it on a daily as her own self-care practice. She was a professional dancer in the Garth Fagan Dance Company of Rochester, is currently a certified mindfulness facilitator, fitness instructor, choreographer and dance and movement coach.

If you are looking for an amazing teacher I can’t say enough about Latisia and her expertise, professionalism and dedication. I needed her to teach my 9 year old daughter a pretty detailed HipHop routine in 5 days for a BIG audition, and she did it. I’m so proud of the hard work she and my daughter put in together to get the choreography to the point where it was done and presentable to submit. My daughter had given up on dance a few years earlier and found her love for it again with Latisia and wants to continue.

Man...what can I say. I'm still on a high. I thoroughly enjoyed the class and dancing with the other ladies. I actually feel more confident and more accepting of myself. Latisia is so patient and attentive to everyone and moves at a pace that everyone can work with. The thought that went into recording and giving us a video, chef's kiss! I would do it again and make sure to be fancy for the recording.
